Files you choose to process
FileGrip temporarily receives and processes files solely to perform the operation selected by you.
Your files are not sold, used for advertising, added to marketing profiles, or used to train artificial intelligence models.
FileGrip is not a permanent cloud-storage service. You should keep your own copy of every important original file.
Temporary file lifecycle
Uploaded files and generated results normally expire within 30 minutes after a job completes or fails.
For interactive tools, files may be removed earlier after FileGrip confirms that the result has been released to your browser.
A technical recovery or cleanup process may occasionally require a short additional period to complete deletion safely.
Limited technical information
FileGrip keeps a small amount of technical information needed to operate the service reliably and protect it from misuse.
This information helps FileGrip deliver results, enforce reasonable limits, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability.
- The selected tool and job status
- Original and finished file sizes
- Processing, queue, and download timestamps
- Temporary job and queue identifiers
- Processing duration and operational metrics
- Error information when a task fails
- IP address and browser or device user-agent
- Temporary download counts and delivery status
When you contact support
When you submit a support report, FileGrip may keep the information you provide, related job details, your IP address, and browser or device information.
Support records may be retained for up to 12 months after the issue is resolved. This helps Motiora understand recurring problems, document the assistance provided, and protect the service from abuse.
Please avoid including sensitive document contents, passwords, or private download links unless they are genuinely necessary for the support request.
Temporary downloads
Finished files are delivered through temporary links or download tokens. These links can expire and may stop working after a configured number of downloads.
Several current workflows use a default maximum of five downloads.
Keep result links private and download your file as soon as it is ready.
Analytics and advertising
FileGrip currently does not use Google Analytics, Google AdSense, or active behavioural advertising.
FileGrip currently does not send files to an external cloud file-processing API. Processing uses infrastructure operated for the FileGrip service.
If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced later, the relevant policies and consent controls will be updated before they are activated.
Infrastructure and service providers
Motiora may use hosting, email, security, and other infrastructure providers to operate FileGrip.
Those providers may handle limited technical information only where necessary to provide their service, protect infrastructure, or comply with applicable legal requirements.
Legal and security needs
In rare situations, Motiora may preserve or disclose limited information when reasonably required by applicable law, a valid legal process, fraud prevention, service security, or the protection of users and the public.
File contents are not routinely reviewed by people.
