What is the maximum upload size?
Compress PDF currently supports files up to 60 MB. Most other tools currently support files up to 15 MB.
How long are uploaded files kept?
Files normally expire within 30 minutes after a task completes or fails. Interactive files may be removed earlier after the result is released.
Does FileGrip keep permanent copies of my files?
No. FileGrip is designed for temporary processing and is not a permanent cloud-storage service.
Are my files used to train AI?
No. FileGrip does not use submitted files to train artificial intelligence models.
Why can a converted document look slightly different?
Complex layouts, fonts, images, tables, scanned pages, and unsupported elements can affect the finished result. Always review the downloaded file before relying on it.
Why did my download link stop working?
Result links are temporary and may expire or stop working after the allowed number of downloads. Process the original file again when needed.
Can FileGrip restore an expired file?
No. Expired temporary files cannot be restored. Keep your original file and download completed results promptly.
What should I include in a support report?
Include the tool name, what you expected, what happened, and any visible error message. Do not include passwords, private keys, or confidential file contents unless genuinely necessary.
